Congratulations to Jeffrey Vu, DNP, MBA, RN, FNP-BC, Associate Program Director for the UCI Health Gender Diversity Program, recipient of this year’s 2021 ARIISE Award for Respect.

Jeffery’s commitment to patient care and the LGBTQ community in Orange County began as a nursing student at UCI, and in 2013, when nursing students were called on to volunteer for the first iteration of an LGBTQ clinic at the UCI Family Health Center in Santa Ana, he quickly stepped up. In 2016, when it came time for UCI to have the first program dedicated to providing care to transgender and non-binary people, he was again at the forefront.

Please join us in congratulating Jeffrey Vu on this exceptional accomplishment!
